Ternopil State Medical University located in the state of Ternopil, Ukraine and was established in 1957. Campus:

The campus of TSMU is a structural subdivision of the university. It consists of student dormitories with surrounding areas. The campus provides convenient accommodation for full-time students, international students, interns, Master degree students, resident physicians, PhD students, preparatory course students and post-graduate students, preparatory course and post-graduate students for the duration of their studies at the university as well as applicants during entrance exams. Campus administration coordinates the cooperation of administrative office, student self-governance, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Social Affairs, tutors council, group curators on the matter of facilities improving, leisure time, cultural and sports activities of students. The campus administration consists of a director, an assistant director, two inspectors and an inspector for international student affairs.

Campus administration coordinates educational, nationally patriotic, cultural and sports activities of students within the campus. It also controls the housekeeping, room tidiness and enforcement of safety rules by the students.

The dormitory has 206 rooms and a total housing capacity of 508 persons. Each floor of the dormitory has 3 living wings. There are 3 suites, a common room, a kitchen with essential equipment and a utility room in each wing. The suit contains 2 double occupancy rooms and 2 triple occupancy rooms, a toilet and shower. Internet is available in most rooms of the dormitory.

The Dormitory Director office, a staff office and a spacious hall are situated on the ground floor. There are also a few libraries there. One of them has a small computer room and a study hall for international students.

The students of the dormitories No.1 and 2 can use a modern computer room with 30 computers connected to Internet. You can also take full advantage of a caf? and a spacious dining-hall. International students sometimes make parties and hold different cultural events there. Dormitory No.2 is located adjacent to the City bus station. Ukrainian and international students and student families live there. The dormitory has 224 rooms and a total housing capacity of 549 persons. Each floor of the dormitory has 3 wings. There are 3 suites, a common room, a kitchen and a utility room in each wing. Internet is available in most rooms of the dormitory.

The dormitory is in good repair order. The Dormitory Director office, a staff office, a spacious hall and guest rooms are situated on the ground floor. The students of the dormitories No.1 and 2 can use a modern computer room with 30 computers connected to Internet. You can also take full advantage of a caf? and a spacious dining-hall. International students sometimes make parties and hold different cultural events there. The dormitory No.3 is adjacent to Ternopil Regional Hospital. It is very convenient because the 3rd-6th year students have their classes there. Ukrainian students of different faculties live there. The dormitory has 97 quadruple occupancy rooms and total housing capacity of 388 persons. Internet is available in all rooms of the dormitory.

The dormitory has its own winter heating system. It also has a new computer room with 30 modern computers connected to Internet. There is a spacious study hall where the students can prepare for their classes any time. A dining, where the students can have a delicious meal for low price, is also available there. Dormitory No. 4 is adjacent to Ternopil Regional Hospital. It is very convenient because the 3rd-6th year students have their classes there. Ukrainian full-time students and interns of different faculties and doctors attending professional improvement courses live there. The dormitory has 37 quadruple occupancy rooms and a total housing capacity of 146 persons.

Internet is available in all rooms of the dormitory. The complete renovation of the building has been recently done and each room is fully furnished. There is an administration office, a spacious hall, separate genders showers, a laundry, a computer room and a study hall. A new dining-hall is going to be opened soon.

Sports Activities:

Sports activities are part of student life in ternopil state medical university.all kinds of sports are available in ternopil state medical university.we have big sports hall and sports ground for outdoor games.there is also swimming pool available for students.university gym is well equipped and trainers are also available. Hostel and Accomodation:

Ternopil state medical university has very vast space for the residence of students. Our university assures the residence of all foreigner students. We have dormitories and single rooms for students rooms are furnished with bed, mattress, blanket, side table, study table and chair there is one cupboard also. All rooms have attached washrooms. However there are also rooms available with the kitchen it depends on students demand what kind of room he chooses.carpenter, plumber electrician and servicemen are always available on the behalf of the university. Along with this Ternopil state medical also provide mess for foreigner students according to there food.
