  • Fix a timetable to study- In order to study in a regular manner, students should make a timetable for each day. This can help them manage time for all the subjects in a proper way. Keep phones and other gadgets away during this time so as not to lose focus.
  • Make a regular routine – Fix a particular portion to be studied each day. Make sure to complete the fixed portion the same day. Do not carry it forward to the next day as it can ruin the preset routine for the coming days.
  • Understand the basics- Instead of mugging up everything try to understand the basic concepts behind the subjects. This habit helps one remember the concepts for a long time.
  • Make brief notes- While studying, try making notes of important points. These can be referred to during revision. These notes enhance the potential to revise.
  • Have variety in the daily study- Try to study different subjects in a day and do not just stick to one for hours. Variety in the study will keep you interested in it and help maintain focus.
  • Focus on weaker subjects- Students must give some extra time to the weaker subjects every day and try making them strong. Find mistakes and try not to repeat them.
  • Do not lose concentration- Keep ready all the necessities before sitting to study. Getting up every now and then not only makes one lose time but also concentration.
  • Do not give much importance to hours- It does not matter how many hours a day one studies, it is how he utilises the hours. Students must not exhaust themselves while studying for very long hours. Take time out to rest too.
  • Solve CBSE sample papers- Students must make a routine of solving two sample papers or CBSE question papers of previous years’ to get familiar with the question paper pattern and the kind of questions asked.
  • For Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics- Make it a habit to solve 10 questions from each of these subjects everyday as these are practice-based subjects.
